How to Use LIA
Start fast in LIA Lite
Use LIA Lite for exploration, outlining, and first drafts. Set (or confirm) the jurisdiction, narrow the question, and upload only what’s necessary—the system processes files transiently and does not retain them by default. Your goal here is clarity: frame the issues, collect facts, and sketch the structure of your answer.
Validate in LIA Pro
When accuracy matters, move to LIA Pro and pick a mode: Scholarly Insight (structured legal analysis & drafting) or Live Analysis (first-principles reasoning & forensic checks). For high-stakes work, choose Integrated Expertise (sequential): LIA runs both engines and synthesizes a single result with confidence scoring and explainable flags. (Sequential uses ≈ 2.5× tokens.)
Deliver and manage tokens
Export clean DOCX/PDF (optionally bilingual), with citations, timelines, and an evidence manifest. Watch the token meter: alerts arrive at 75% and 90%, and at 100% new jobs soft-pause—buy a $50 top-up or switch back to Lite to keep moving. Best practice: draft in Lite → single-engine Pro → finish with Integrated Expertise when you need maximum confidence.
