What is FIA Plan?+

It entitles the account to the shipped FIA Labs suite and turns Federation on. What is Federation — and what is an FIA Brief?+
You work at the desk that owns the question. Files and conversations stay on that desk. When a matter needs another discipline, you send an FIA Brief — a packet you authorise — and read the reply. Nothing else is shared. Only authorised FIA Briefs cross desks.
How do credits and packs work?+
Includes 1,000 credits each billing period, usable on any shipped desk. Extra credit packs work across the suite and do not expire. You pay for what you consume after the included allotment.
How does FIA Plan relate to a desk seat?+
FIA Plan is an alternative to a single-desk seat, not an extra charge on top of Operator, Counsel, or Chambers. Operator, Counsel, and Chambers remain single-desk seats. FIA Plan is the other choice: the house seat for the shipped suite, with Federation on.
What are Operator, Counsel, and Chambers?+
Single-desk seats for Legal Intel / LIA. Operator $29 — 1,500 credits a month. Counsel $79 — 5,000. Chambers $249 — 15,000. Full desk on every seat — Ask LIA, evidence, Talk, the record. FIA Plan is the other choice: the house seat for the shipped suite, with Federation on.
Can I try the desk without a card?+
Yes. Sign in to begin with 150 free credits, no card.
Should I approve a split search?+
Yes, when the Matter is large. Tick Split a large search once on Review. Three or more documents, or a long extract, is searched one file at a time. The desk shows each file as found or not found, with a short quote, and those quotes go to the working. A single Review clips and can miss a later page. The split shows what was read. It spends more credits because it covers more of the file. A connected Drive or Dropbox folder is searched by filename while Review runs; those names are not read into the working already started. Mail is not connected. A small file is not split. Ask is not split. LIA asks again only if the next search would take the seat below 500 credits.
Does LIA hallucinate case law?+
LIA is built so that what the record does not establish is marked as a gap, not filled with a fluent guess. Every answer keeps evidence, inference and gap on different lines, with Show working, so you can see which document each line rests on. No AI tool can promise it will never be wrong: open and check every authority in an official source before you rely on it. Human judgment remains the authority.
