How the desk actually works.
LIA Pro is a governed reasoning desk. You are not chatting with a brainstorming bot. You are putting a file on a ledger and asking what it will bear.
Ask LIA
Type the question. Ask LIA runs a governed review: reconstruction, counter-reading, and what the file will actually support. Evidence, inference, and gap stay classified. If the preferred theory needs a fact that is not on the file, the desk says so.
Stop
A run can be stopped. Escape, or the Stop control. You keep the room. Failed or unfinished runs are not billed against the tank.
Show working
The one-line conclusion is not the whole instrument. Show working opens the reconstruction, the competing readings, and what the conclusion depends on. Hide it when you want the short form back.
Conversations and matters
Two ways onto the desk. A conversation is for testing an idea — a clause, an invoice, a question you want to pressure. A matter is for building a file: evidence, notes, timeline, the record as it grows. Same engine. Different posture.
Evidence
Drop documents onto the ledger. Or pull them from Google Drive or Dropbox, once you are signed in. What lands is classified — primary, inference, gap — and stays on that matter. Files on a matter stay on that matter.
Talk
Live voice on the same file. Dictate if you would rather speak the question. The ledger does not become a different product when you take your hands off the keyboard.
The record
What you get is exportable reasoning, not a chat log. The classification, the working, the caution. You can take it to counsel. You still decide.
